Bunny lounge chair by Sedes Regia presented at Maison & Objet
Dezeen Showroom: presented at Maison & Objet, Lithuanian studio Inblum Architects designed the Bunny lounge chair for furniture manufacturer Sedes Regia, which is designed to bring a little mirth to modern offices.
The Bunny lounge chair is one of a selection of products available through French furniture and design fair Maison & Objet.
The chair has a minimalist, bunny-like silhouette and is distinguished by its backrest, which is made up of two "bunny ear" segments. The segments are fixed to an oversized plush seat, which is designed to offer ample seating space for added relaxation and comfort.
The Bunny chair is made from a durable plywood frame padded with high-elasticity foam to give it its soft, rounded appearance.
"Bunny is a very much-loved member of Sedes Regia's collection," said the brand. "It's a decorative piece for a modern office, but it can be easily domesticated for the home."
The chair is designed to accommodate dynamic ways of sitting. It features a distinct backrest that provides optimal comfort when leaning back and the varying heights of the back segments enable it to be used as an armrest when sitting sideways.
Designed as a playful addition to offices, the chair can also be used for public areas such as lounge areas, as well as used in residential contexts.
