Dezeen Awards 2026 is open for entries

Subscribe to our newsletter to receive the latest news and announcements about the awards here.

To enter Dezeen Awards 2026 you will need to create an account. Last year we introduced a new software called Evessio. If you entered last year, please use your Evessio login.

If you don't yet have an Evessio account, when prompted, please create a new account with Evessio. This is very simple to do and you may even have one already if you have entered another Evessio-hosted awards programme in the past. You can then enter as many categories as you like by completing the entry form and adding new categories.

For our 2026 edition, we will publish our Regional Showcases, three Top 50 lists that celebrate the best projects in three regions globally: Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Americas (AMER).

Every project entered into this year's awards can also be entered into the Regional Showcases. For architecture and interiors projects, eligibility will be determined by the project location. For design projects, it will be determined by the location of the studio.

Before working on your entry be sure to read this page and also read the terms and conditions carefully. To find out more about the awards categories, visit the categories page.

Please pay particular attention to the entry deadlines! These are listed below or visit the prices and dates page.

Below is some information to help you submit your entry:

Images: Images must be under 40MB. Your main image should best represent your project or studio and will be published if you get selected for the Regional Showcases, are shortlisted or win. You can upload up to ten gallery images. Do not upload renderings or digital visualisations. Include architectural plans and before and after photos where appropriate in the supporting images section.

Video: If you have one, it's a good idea to include a link to a video about your project in the relevant field on the entry form. This should be clear and informative. We recommend that it's no longer than five minutes in length.

Entry text: You will need to provide a short description and include key project details such as the brief, information on materials and how the building is made, or product manufactured. You will be asked to outline any innovative thinking if the design contributes to society or meets the principles of inclusive design, for example, and if any strategies are in place to maximise reuse and minimise waste. Write your entry succinctly, sticking to the facts, and avoiding exaggeration.

Word count limit: These are stated in the entry form. Please consider the word count limit when writing your entry.

Entering on behalf of the designer: Make sure to ask permission first when entering on behalf of the designer and credit any studio or designer who should be named should the entry be selected for a Regional Showcase, are shortlisted or win.

Editing your entry: You may return and edit your entry as many times as you like. However, once you've made the payment, you cannot change your entry.

Keep a copy: Save a copy of your answers just in case!

Submitting your entry: Once you've paid, we will send you a confirmation email, a text copy of your entry and a receipt. If applicable, a VAT receipt will also be provided.

Note: Once you've paid your entry fee there is no further obligatory payment to make. We do not charge fees for winners, trophies, publications or anything else. If we hold a winners' ceremony, there will  be a charge for this but attendance is not strictly obligatory.
