Cross pedestal table / Matthew Hilton
An asymmetrical solid oak base gives this dining table its unique character. It has a 1200mm diameter circular oak veneered or wenge stained tabletop that has solid tapered lipping. A 10mm thick toughened glass top is also available. The idiosyncratic base is constructed from two interlocking pieces lends the piece a sculptural feel. It comfortably fits 6 people.

Cross dining table / Matthew Hilton
The Cross dining table is a fine example of advanced wood manufacturing techniques. Made from a solid oak base with a veneered top, it has two extendable leaves that are stored in the frame when the table is in the closed position. The table is notably large, yet retains a visual balance due to the unusually thick top.
The design of the base allows for the comfortable positioning of 6/8 chairs, or 12/14 when extended. The Cross is a particularly functional design, sturdy, handsome and built for use. It is available in natural or wenge stained oak.

Cross sideboard / Matthew Hilton
The Cross sideboard is a new addition to the Cross product family. It has a solid oak frame, and body in natural or wenge stained oak. The sideboard is configured with 3 drawers on the left side and two doors from the right side inwards. The uppermost drawer is slightly slimmer than those below and ideal for cutlery.
All handles are rectangular solid wood. Cross is a relatively high sideboard that appears to almost glide on the distinctive leg frame. It is a robust piece ideal for dining and living areas of the home.

Case Works
Case is a new London based manufacturer creating fine quality designs for the international furniture market. Case works exclusively with designers who have an implicit understanding of advanced manufacturing techniques and of how to deliver product that is everyday iconic. Case is the creation of British furniture pioneers Sheridan Coakley and Paul Newman.
Sheridan Coakley is a well-known figure in British furniture design industry. He set up the furniture brand SCP twenty years ago, at a time when there were very few producers of modern furniture in Britain.
He has been credited with launching the careers of design luminaries such as Matthew Hilton, Konstantin Grcic and Jasper Morrison. He has unrivalled experience of how to bring ideas from conception to production and is well known for the exacting nature of the design briefs he sets.
Paul Newman has also been working in the furniture design industry for over twenty years. He started as a product designer, launching his first designs at the Salone de Mobile in 1988. The following year he opened his first retail store in London’s Notting Hill, Aero. In the following years Aero established itself and a retailer and manufacturer of fine quality design, supplying to the most renowned design retailers in Britain.
More recently he formed the manufacturing company INK, which has also launched a series of successful designs to market. Newman is a well-respected expert in design, sourcing and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Coakley and Newman’s collective understanding of the international market and of manufacturing techniques worldwide brings both competence and rigour to the Case brand. They are dedicated to delivering to an international audience excellent design at good value.
Case brings first-rate design principles and advanced manufacturing techniques to an area of the furniture market more associated with imitation and mediocrity. Case promotes the notion that the best design should be available to the mass market and is capable of delivering large volume batch production, ideal for the larger retailer.
Case has developed an extended network of trading partners that are able to manufacture and distribute on a global scale. This positions the Case brand at the vanguard of creativity and as a proactive company, able to deliver products with added value to a wide audience.
The 2006 Case collection has won international awards and Case are proud to launch the 2007 Case collection at the Salone Del Mobile 2007.
