Stefan Sagmeister in Belgrade
Here are some snaps taken at Things I have Learned in My Life So Far - an exhibition of the work of legendary graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister at the SuperSpace gallery in Belgrade.
The show, which brought together a series of works illustrating sentences from Sagmeister's diary, closed last week.
The photos show the exhibition plus the opening event, which was attended by Sagmeister (in stripey shirt).

Belgrade, Serbia - Stefan Sagmeister (1962), one of the most influental graphic designers today (www.sagmeister.com), known for his poster for AIGI (American Institute for Graphic Arts) and CD covers for the Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Talking Heads, David Byrne and others, exhibited his works at the Superspace Gallery in Belgrade, Serbia, 24.06 - 08.07 2007, for the first time.
Exhibition entitled Things I have Learned in My Life So Far, is a topographic serial done in the most unconventional manner.
Truisms taken from the designer's diary were previously showcased as billboards in Paris and Portugal, in Japan, on German TV, in Austrian magazines, as a poster campaing in the USA, and published in a limited edition book. This is the first time that they have been exbibited together in a gallery.
