This coming Saturday 1 September is the deadline for entries to The Great Indoors Award 2007 - a new, biannual, international interior design prize.
Winners in the seven categories (see below) will be announced at a ceremony in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on 17 November, with each winner receiving €10,000.

The Great Indoors is an international, biennial, interior design award. The total amount of prize money is €50,000.
Giving recognition to the best interior design worldwide, on a biennial basis, is a good way to celebrate the importance of superlative (realized) projects and to raise the overall quality of interior design.
The Great Indoors Award will honour interior design projects in five categories. The winner of each category will receive a prize of €10,000. In each of these categories, five nominees will be selected and invited to attend the award ceremony at the cost of the organization.
The Great Indoors Award 2007 invites designers, architects and clients to submit a project or projects in the following categories:
Show & Sell
(Retail: shops, showrooms, trade-fair stands, exhibitions)
Relax & Consume
(Leisure: hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants, spas, wellness centres)
Concentrate & Collaborate
(Work: offices, studios, administration buildings, conference centres)
Serve & Facilitate
(Public: libraries, hospitals, theatres, schools)
Interior Design Firm of the Year
Winners will be announced at The Great Indoors Award ceremony on Saturday, 17 November 2007, in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The Great Indoors Award catalogue will feature the 25 nominated projects, plus jury reports and profiles of the firms involved in the realization of these interiors. The catalogue will be a supplement of the January/February 2008 issue of Frame magazine.
