Dezeen promotion: as part of our collaboration with The Jones hotel in London, Dezeen readers can get 50% off standard room rates when booking during the London Design Festival, Frieze Art Fair or indeed at any time from September until December.
The Jones looks like being the most happening spot in town during the coming festival season. Dezeen is curating a design exhibition in The Jones' lobby, bars and theatre (shown here) that will run from 16 September to 19 October - more details coming very soon.
The Jones, on Inverness Terrace in Bayswater, is perfectly located for London's key autumn events, being just two direct tube stops from the Earl's Court exhibition centre and two stops from Bond Street. It's also a stone's throw from Hyde Park and just a few minutes' walk from Paddington Station.
The historic building is currently being refurbished and will open to the public in September.
Opening Rates at The Jones for Dezeen readers:
Double Room: £99.00
Superior Room £119.00 (shown below)

Here's some info about The Jones:
--
London's newest arts hotel jewel which combines Edwardian elegance with drama. Built by Mewes and Davis who designed The Ritz, the building retains many of its original Edwardian features with gilt curves, frescoes and rosewood panelling.
Complete with a stunning theatre commission by Edward VII for his mistress Lillie Langtree in the late 1800s, it has been restored to its former glory providing a stage for London's emerging creative talent. Each evening guests can sample a slice of contemporary cultural London, with 20 minute performances ranging from music to theatre to poetry - suitable for those who want to experience canape style cultural grazing.
In contrast to the historic architecture of the public spaces, the fully-equipped guestrooms, complete with flat-screen interactive TVs, free Wifi for the first hour and MP3 ports, are hallmarked by more subtle tones and thoughtful, understated styling, with mood lighting and soft pillows for sleepy heads. The hotel's Oliver Peyton restaurant combines Edwardian grandeur with modern cuisine. To put it simply, the best of both worlds, old and new, classic but contemporary.
You may not have the chance to hit the fashion track in neighbouring Notting Hill or experience the perennial bustle of Portobello, but off-beat, contemporary London will come to you. And when it's time to leave, the hotel is minutes from Paddington station, the home of the Heathrow Express the fast track to London's premier international airport.
