Dezeen’s top ten: watches and clocks
This month's top ten features the ten most popular stories about clocks and watches from the Dezeen archives. In first place is The Clock Clock, a digital clock made of 24 analogue clocks that spell out the time with their hands, created by Swedish designers Humans since 1982.
2: second most popular is the Fortis IQ watch with a blackboard-style face by designer Rolf Sachs for watch brand Fortis.
3: in third place is the V.01 collection by Hong Kong-based designer David Ericsson of Void watches.
4: fourth most-popular is a collection of watches by Milan designer Denis Guidone, including this one where hour, minute and second hands are represented by dots.
5: our fifth most-clicked-on story about watches features five designs by London designer Crispin Jones of Mr Jones Watches.
6: Extra Normal Grande by Ross McBride of Normal Timepieces is sixth most-viewed.
7: in seventh place are more watches by Denis Guidone.
8: Marc Newson's watches for Ikepod come in eighth.
9: a movie from Dutch designer Maarten Baas‘ Real Time exhibition in Milan this April called Analog Digital Clock features a performer replicating a digital clock by painting over and wiping clean panels on a glass screen.
10: and finally, in tenth place is Trapezoid, a watch designed for fashion brand Issey Miyake by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
