Dezeen and British designer Mr Jones have teamed up to give away ten limited edition black Tengus, worth £20 each.
Tengu is a USB-powered device whose LED facial expressions react to sound, making it appear to sing along to music.
To commemorate the launch of this limited edition, Mr Jones commissioned filmmakers Paddington & Millie and composer Dominic Robson to make a short film featuring a dancing black Tengu.
Paddington & Millie have also produced a video featuring the Tengu Allstars, a collection of three Tengus inspired by musical heroes. Watch the video here.

Working on your PC can sometimes be a lonely experience. Well not anymore, because now you can get yourself a new companion in the form of Tengu!
Tengu is a USB-powered character that lights up and lip-syncs to music, or your voice, or whatever noise happens to be around at the time. Tengu has different facial expressions that you can match to different music. When there's no sound he'll simply fall asleep, as soon as he detects some noise he'll wake up again. Tengu is a fun little character who guarantees to raise a smile as he mimes along to your favourite songs.
Tengu is a stand-alone device that does not require any additional software on the host computer. To change Tengu’s facial expressions you just need to blow on his face for a second (his face will change automatically if he hears a lot of loud music). Tengu responds to sound level and with the right music he magically synchs with the singer.
We've had a small batch of Tengus made up with a black case - he responds the same as a regular Tengu, but looks extra sharp. We only produced a small batch of these fellows and once they're gone, they're gone.
To celebrate this new member of the Tengu family Paddington & Millie have created a short film that harks back to the golden age of musicals. In the film Tengu dances and sings with a shimmering grace that needs to be seen to be believed!
Mr Jones has commissioned film makers Paddington & Millie and composer Dominic Robson to create a set of short films about the Tengu characters.
For the Tengu All Stars, the film makers have produced an animated "music festival on your desktop". Each of the All Stars (Woodstock, Stardust and Rotten) are shown in action, singing along to their own theme tunes.
Dominic Robson composed a track for each of the All Stars that reflects the musical genre that inspired the different characters - punk for Rotten, psychedelic for Woodstock and glam rock for Stardust.
Congratulations to the winners!
