Five years ago this week the Zaha Hadid – Architecture and Design exhibition opened at the Design Museum in London and Dezeen were reporting live from the show as well as running the exhibition blog.
Sadly the blog no longer exists but you can read all the stories about Zaha Hadid on Dezeen here.
There was also a retro theme with first phase of Chimney Pot Park coming to a close, revitalising streets of unwanted century-old terraced housing in Salford, England, and a budget hotel in Berlin that celebrated Communist retro chic.
Meanwhile Ilse Crawford completed two new restaurants at Grand Hotel Stockholm, which she discussed in an interview on interior design with Dezeen last year, and Barnaby Barford presented a new range of his signature sinister porcelain figurines.
