Meanwhile we opened our latest design pop-up shop Dezeen Super Store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden, and The Independent put us at number one in their top ten architecture blogs.
Diller Scofidio + Renfro unveiled designs for a medical college with its skin peeled back, MVRDV proposed extending the city of Almere into a lake with a square artificial peninsula covered in gardens and Frank Gehry caused a few giggles with a crumpled paper project.
It was a good week for design in Paris too with new street furniture for Wi-Fi stations by Mathieu Lehanneur and a new restaurant at the top of the Montparnasse Tower by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance.
