Dezeen promotion: manufacturers MCZ have launched a cylindrical pellet stove called Tube.
The heater is suitable for wall or corner installation and has bronze-coloured steel sides with a black-painted aluminium top.
Tube is also available in a version called Comfort Air, which distributes the air heated by the stove to other rooms up to eight metres away through a ventilation system installed in the walls - more information here.
The Comfort Air version comes with a remote-controlled thermostat that can be used to programme on/off times, set the desired temperature, adjust power and ventilation and change the flow of air along the different ducts.
The MCZ group has been manufacturing fireplaces since the 1980s, and has previously released a combined TV and fireplace and an eco-stove that won the IF Product Design Award 2011.
