Final call for entries to World Architecture Festival and Inside Festival awards 2014
Dezeen promotion: this month is the last chance to submit architecture and interior design projects for the World Architecture Festival and Inside World Festival of Interiors awards.
World Architecture Festival (WAF) and Inside Festival take place simultaneously at the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore from 1 to 3 October. The festivals celebrate the best in international architecture and interior design, drawing a crowd of over 2,000 architects and designers each year.
Both festivals include awards programs that honour exemplary projects designed in the last 18 months. There are 30 possible award categories to enter for WAF, including completed buildings, landscapes and future projects.
This year, two free-to-enter prizes will open for the first time: Wood Excellence Prize and the Exterior Colour Prize. An overall winner will be awarded the World Building of the Year title.
The Inside Festival awards include 13 different categories, ranging from civic spaces to transportation hubs and restaurants, with designers competing for World Interior of the Year award.
Winners will be announced during the festivals in Singapore. Register to enter the World Architecture Festival awards and the Inside Festival awards before 30 May.
Shortlisted entries for both awards will present their projects in front of a jury of international judges — chaired by Richard Rogers, of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (WAF) and Rossana Hu of Chinese studio Neri&Hu (Inside Festival) — live at the event.
