Steel loops of varying size can be twisted and contorted to make a variety of shapes in this customisable lighting system.
"Its looping form, driven by a sequence of shaped steel arms and cast glass heads, can be read forward or backward like a palindromic number or word and folds into itself with ease," said the studio.
Thin wires are looped around elevated sections of the steel structure, allowing it be suspended from the ceiling.
Oval cut-glass LED lamps settle on branches spaced out along the structure of the metal fixture, casting pools of soft light onto the ground below.
"This kinetic chandelier's sand-blasted lamps diffuse LED light in a soft, yet powerful manner and can be rotated to further enhance atmosphere," explained the studio.
The chandelier comes in a variety of metal finishes and can be customised to twist in a variety of different directions.
Palindrome was launched during New York design week last month, along with Rich Willing Brilliant's Mori lamps, a collection of fabric lights inspired by the cocoons of silkworms.
