Dezeen promotion: entries are now open for the A' Design Awards, an annual design competition that covers over 100 disciplines.
Projects from any country can be submitted across 104 categories – including furniture, architecture and packaging – as long as they were designed in the last 10 years.
Since it was set up by Italian studio OMC Design Studios in 2009, A' Design Award & Competition has helped designers publicise their work and link with potential design buyers, while also connecting designer brands with the media and design-oriented audiences.
All entries are peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a panel comprised of academics, design professionals and members of the press, who will be looking for projects that combine innovation, technology, design and creativity.
Winners will receive the A' Design Prize , a design excellence certificate and a 3D printed metal trophy, which will be given out at a gala night in late June in Como, Italy.
Recipients of the prize will also have their project converted into over 20 languages and will be given help promoting their work to international media as well as marketing advice.
The winning projects will also feature in an exhibition, lasting between two to four weeks.
Entries need to be submitted by February 28 2015, and the final results will be announced on April 15 2015.
