Dezeen's editor-in-chief shortlisted for Editor of the Year awards
News: Dezeen's editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs has been shortlisted in two categories for the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards 2014.
Fairs, who founded Dezeen in 2006, has been shortlisted for Digital Editor of the Year (Business) and Business Brand Editor of the Year (Weekly/Fortnightly/More frequent) at the BSME Awards.
The BSME awards are widely considered the most prestigious awards in UK publishing, and are judged by some of the leading names in British journalism.
In 2013 Fairs was named BSME Business Web Editor of the Year, with judges praising Dezeen as "seductive" and offering a "satisfying user experience".
The nominations are the latest in a string of high-profile accolades for Dezeen this year, which has seen the website and its editors shortlisted for the PPA Awards, the Webby Awards and the British Media Awards.
In July, Dezeen was highly commended by judges at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards, who described the site as "stunningly beautiful".
