Punk-influenced school uniforms and clothes made from brown paper were worn by models carrying giant teddies at London fashion studio Sibling's catwalk show on Saturday.
Sibling's Autumn Winter 2015 menswear collection was presented in a bright colour that "rapidly became known as Sibling Pink", according to the designers.
Presented as part of men's fashion showcase London Collections: Men last weekend, the collection was titled Judy Is A Punk after a 1976 song by American punk-rock band Ramones.
"A childhood blur of musical influences, school uniforms and a closeness to the original punk attitude we were too young to be part of feeds this collection," said Sibling founders Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery.
Pink, black and white-striped blazers are worn with loosened ties, untucked shirts and Bermuda shorts.
The uniform theme was continued with accessories including collegiate scarves, gloves, hats and rugby socks – all made in Scotland.
Referencing the furry novelty gonk toys popular in the 1960s and 1970s, dyed goat hair formed trims for 12-foot latex scarves and jackets, as well covering entire coats.
Brown paper – traditionally used to cover exercise books – was re-appropriated into tailored garments for three looks.
"Covering your rough-book with brown paper then your name, the name of the person you fancy, the name of your own sh*t band, cool sixth-form boys (from whichever side of the tracks)... kicked off our imagination for AW15," the designers said.
Spotted, chequerboard, argyle and Fair Isle patterns were used to decorate knitted crew-neck jumpers and cardigans worn over shirts or bare chests.
The same motifs were used for teddy bears appliquéd onto lapels and chests, and their oversized counterparts carried by the models.
Sibling's signature deconstructed knitwear, designed to look "loved to the point of disintegration", and a shin-length latex coat also featured in the studio's chosen colour of the season.
Pink suede Chelsea boots by Parisian cordwainer Robert Clergerie completed the outfits, with hair coloured to match.
