Designjunction announces Milan line-up and new design quarter
Dezeen promotion: designjunction has announced the headline exhibitors for its Milan show taking place from 15 to 19 April and a new district for the city's design week.
For it's fourth edition, the designjunction edit Milan exhibition will take place at Casa dell'Opera Nazionale Balilla – a 1930s former school building and ex-theatre.
"We are very excited to take over Casa dell'Opera this April," said designjunction head of events Will Sorrell. "This unique building is located in an area synonymous with design."
Designers and brands exhibiting in the 930-square-metre venue will include: Jaguar, Tom Dixon, Case Furniture, Nyta, Beyond Object, Colè Italia, Luke Irwin London, New Works, H Furniture, Native Union, Modus, Void Watches, La Chance, Punkt., Form Us With Love, Baux, Frame Store, UKTI and more.
This curated selection of 40 global design brands will exhibit alongside pop-up shops, installations and a cafe across the five-day event.
"The combination of a fantastic group of exhibitors and a building steeped in history will make a dramatic and inspiring visitor experience," Sorrell added.

The edit show will also form the focal event of the new San Babila Design Quarter in Milan's city centre. Both will be presented in partnership with wholesale design marketplace Monoqi Business.
Participating design showrooms and fashion stores in the area will include: Alessi, Axor, Artemide, Fontane Arte, Interni Mobile & Design, Vivienne Westwood, Marazzi, Caesarstone, Brian & Barry Building, Moroni Gomma, Natuzzi Italia, Porro and Rimadesio.
