Dezeen promotion: architects and designers have until 12pm on the 28 May to submit their projects for the World Architecture Festival and Inside World Festival of Interiors awards (+ slideshow).
The World Architecture Festival (WAF) and Inside World Festival of Interiors will take place simultaneously over three days at Singapore's Suntec Centre from 4 to 6 November.
The annual events' awards programmes, which close for applications at 12pm (BST) on the 28 May, are expected to receive over 750 entries. Shortlisting will begin in early June, splitting the projects into 31 categories.
From the shortlisted candidates, a winner for each category will be decided by a judging panel during the first two days of the festival.
The final day will see category winners present their projects to the panel of experts for a chance to win the World Landscape, Future Project and Completed Building of the Year awards.
The same process will apply for the Inside Awards, which will honour nine category winners and an overall World Interior of the Year.
In addition to the main awards, a specialist panel will decide on prizes for small projects, use of wood, and use of colour.
Sou Fujimoto and Sir Peter Cook of CRAB Studio are among 70 judges who will be attending the festival and critiquing the work across the three days.
"This is an exciting time for the Awards, with no predictions possible about this year's result," said WAF programme director Paul Finch. "Since our launch in 2008 with our founder sponsor Grohe, we have had entries from about 70 countries around the world, and winners of every shape, size and type."
Previous winners include Vietnamese practice a21's Chapel in Ho Chi Minh, and the MAXXI arts centre in Rome by Zaha Hadid.
"Every year we find new talent competing with established big names, and that is part of the attraction of the event, not just for entrants, but for delegates too," said Finch.

The "Oscars of architecture": World Architecture Festival last call for entries
The annual World Architecture Festival Award, the "Oscars of architecture", is closing for entries on the 22 May. The awards will be celebrated at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Singapore this November, following three days of intensive live presentations and judging.
Entries are invited from architects and designers for the 2015 edition of what is the biggest architectural awards programme in the world. The awards are expected to attract more than 750 entries, about half of which will be shortlisted, in 31 categories. Closing date for entries is 12pm on the 28 May, and shortlisting takes place in early June.
Shortlisted entrants will compete for category prizes on the first two days of the three-day Festival, which takes place in the Suntec Centre on 4, 5 and 6 November. On the final day, category winners present again to super-juries of experienced and respected judges, who decide on the World Landscape, Future Project and Completed Building of the Year.
WAF has over 70 judges who all attend the festival and critique your work. There are 31 award categories open for entries and each category has its own expert judging panel who will watch presentations from every shortlisted architect live at the festival.
This year's superjurors include Royal gold Medallist Sir Peter Cook, Sou Fujimoto (Japan), Kerry Hill (Singapore); Manuelle Gautrand (France), Benedetta Tagliabue (Spain) and Charles Jencks (UK/US).
In addition to the main awards there are prizes for small projects, use of wood and use of colour, decided by specialist juries.
Commenting on the awards, WAF programme director Paul Finch said, "This is an exciting time for the Awards, with no predictions possible about this year's result. Since our launch in 2008 with our founder sponsor Grohe, we have had entries from about 70 countries round the world, and winners of every shape, size and type."
"Last year's completed building winner was a community space in Ho Chi Minh city by a small Vietnamese practice, a21, but we have also had big projects winning, including Zaha Hadid's Maxxi arts centre in Rome, and Wilkinson Eyre’s Gardens by the Bay project in Singapore."
"Every year we find new talent competing with established big names, and that is part of the attraction of the event, not just for entrants, but for delegates too."
The WAF Awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner on the evening of Friday 6 November.
