Dezeen promotion: entries are now open for architects and designers to submit projects for the A' Design Awards and Competition 2016 (+ slideshow).
Projects designed within the last 10 years will be accepted from any country, and can be submitted from disciplines including furniture and architecture.
The A' Design Awards was founded in 2009 to recognise and promote international design projects.
Levels of distinction including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron will be chosen by an international jury and awarded to projects in each of the categories – see the full list of categories.
The winners will receive a certificate of excellence and a 3D-printed trophy during a gala that will take place in Como, Italy, in June 2016.
Recipients of the prize will also have their project information converted into over 20 languages and be given help promoting their work to international media, along with marketing advice.
Among the 2015 winners were a lakeside grotto in Canada and a lamp designed to be smashed by its user.
Early entries are accepted until 30 June. Results will be announced on 15 April 2016.
