Awards season is upon us and Dezeen is shortlisted for 12 media awards at four different ceremonies over the coming weeks.
Dezeen's writing and video teams are up for trophies while editor Anna Winston, design editor Dan Howarth and social media editor Ross Bryant are in the running for individual awards.
"To be shortlisted for so many awards at the same time is an amazing achievement and vindicates our decision to focus on editorial quality," said Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs.
"It's fantastic to see our talented young team recognised in this way."
At the Lovie Awards due to be announced tomorrow, our video of musician Imogen Heap demonstrating her gloves that turn gestures into music has been selected as a finalist in the Branded Entertainment category.
The film has already won the People's Voice poll for best technology movie at the 2015 Webby Awards, beating media giants including the Guardian, CNN, Vice and Google.
Editor Anna Winston has two shortlist places for this year's British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) awards, in Business Brand and Digital Business Editor categories. Winners will be revealed during a ceremony on 16 November 2015.
At the PPA Digital Awards on 25 November, social media editor Ross Bryant is shortlisted for Outstanding Digital Talent, Winston is up for Team Leader of the Year and the editorial team is nominated for Content Team of the Year.
Dezeen also has a total of six nominations for the 2015 PPA Independent Publisher Awards – to be announced on 9 December – where the editorial and studio teams are both in the running for Team of the Year.
Winston is shortlisted for Editor of the Year and deputy editor (design) Dan Howarth is in the running for Writer of the Year.
Bryant – who won this year's BSME Rising Stars award for Best Use of Social Media – is also nominated for Rising Star of the Year.
Accolades for Dezeen Studio this year have included Commercial Campaign of the Year at the British Media Awards and Commercial Partnership category at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards – both for the Dezeen and Mini Frontiers collaboration.
