Fashion brand COS and furniture company Hay have added new home items to their collaborative range of products in time for spring (+ slideshow).
The spring collection includes accessories and furniture in shades of green, blue and pink, along with light wood and cork finishes.
COS heads of design Karin Gustafsson and Martin Andersson have again picked the items from Hay's range to be sold in three of the fashion brand's stores.
"We were very pleased with the reaction from our customers on the collaboration with Hay, we have always admired what Hay do and share many of its values," said Andersson. "We like to describe it as Hay seen through the eyes of COS."
Shelving, rugs, stationery and candleholders all feature in the range. Designs include Joel Hoff's light that can be adjusted by rotating the base and the Bouroullec brother's bent-wood tables and chairs, as well as colourful accordion-pleated document wallets.
COS and Hay launched the joint range last year. Along with the initial product selection, the brands worked with Spanish designer Tomas Alonso to produce a pair of folding wooden tables.
COS has used Hay furniture products in stores and its rails to display collections for many years.
"Over many years we have been very happy to work with COS on so many different levels and projects," said Hay co-founders Mette and Rolf Hay. "At Hay we see ourselves in between fashion and architecture and in working with COS we feel like we have found a perfect home."
The collections is now available from COS stores at London High Street Kensington, Vienna Neubaugasse and Gothenburg. An edited selection can also be found on the COS website.
COS frequently works with individuals and companies from the design and architecture industries. In an interview with Dezeen, managing director Marie Honda said that both fields have been "a key influence" for the brand.
This year, COS has commissioned architect Sou Fujimoto to create a "forest of light" for Milan design week in April.
In previous years, Snarkitecture produced a warren of textile ribbons and Nendo formed an installation celebrating COS' white shirt.
The London-based fashion brand is also a regular sponsor for the annual talks programme at London's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion – a major architecture commission – and has launched limited-edition bags and shoes to coincide with past events.
