Dezeen's #milanogram2016 highlights: day three
Milan 2016: designers swarmed on Milan's iconic Bar Basso last night for Dezeen's party with Lee Broom, and visitors posted their images of Nendo's popular 50 Manga Chairs installation. Click through to see more popular images from our #milanogram2016 tag on Instagram.
For his Salone del Automobile installation, Lee Broom has recreated part of an Italian palazzo inside his studio's delivery van. Last night the British designer parked up outside Bar Basso, a notorious late-night drinking and meeting point during Milan design week, for our joint party.
The vehicle will be travelling around the city's key design districts throughout the week. Inside, Broom's new lighting collection Optical is displayed.
Popular images appearing in the #milanogram2016 tag include products by late Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, including one of her last design projects – the Mew Table.
A piece designed by Zaha Hadid is also on display at the Atelier Swarovski home collection.
Elsewhere in Milan, Moroso's Spring to Mind – a show that pays homage to Ron Arad and his creative partnership with the Italian furniture brand – opened to visitors.
A selection of Arad's most iconic products are displayed in a darkened space alongside a mirrored installation on the ground level. Upstairs, a timeline of Arad-designed furniture for Moroso is presented.
Finally, Instagram users have been full of praise for Nendo's 50 Manga Chairs installation, which is on display at Facoltà Teologica dell'Italia Settentrionale – home last year to the equally Instagram-friendly Mindcraft exhibition of Danish design.
