Dezeen promotion: architects and designers are invited to submit entries to this year's A' Design Awards (+ slideshow).
The A' Design Awards aims to recognise and promote international design projects across categories that span architecture, interiors and design – see the full list of categories.
Entries must have been completed within the last 10 years, and will be judged by an international jury of academics, design professionals and press members.
The winning projects will be awarded Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron levels.
Prizes include a 3D-printed metal trophy, a certificate of excellence, an invitation to a gala in Italy and feedback notes from the jury.
Winning designers will also get their project description translated into over 20 languages, complimentary promotion, a licence to use the A' Design Award Logo and inclusion in the yearbook of best designs.
Past winners of the award include a wooden community centre in the earthquake-affected Japanese town of Yamada by Van Der Architects and SOM's Mumbai international airport terminal, which has a coffered concrete canopy.
Pedevilla Architects' pair of bright homes, which combine traditional elements with modern detailing in northern Italy were also among the successful entries in last year's competition.
Other award-winning projects are a Japanese restaurant inspired by forest pathways and a sales centre with a fish-shaped green roof that forms a viewing platform.
The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2016. Results will be announced to the public and published on Dezeen on 15 April 2017.
