UNStudio founder Ben van Berkel's opening seminar at World Architecture Festival 2016 will examine how architects can support new egalitarian ideals for living. Tune in here to watch it live from Berlin.
Titled Superliving, Van Berkel's seminar kicks off three days of talks and panel discussions exploring the festival's theme this year of Housing for Everyone.
The live stream of the talk – chaired by World Architecture Festival director Paul Finch – has now ended, but you can still watch the full presentation in the video above . If you can't see the video here, you can watch it on Dezeen's Facebook page.
Van Berkel's Amsterdam firm UNStudio ranked 55rd in the recently announced Dezeen Hot List, after making the news this year for completing a two-decade-long project to design a new station for the Dutch city Arnhem.
Dezeen is media partners for World Architecture Festival 2016, which this year takes place in Berlin in conjunction with the Inside festival of interior design.
We will be broadcasting a number of the keynote seminars over the next few days from both events – including talks by Patrik Schumacher and Ross Lovegrove – as well as conducting interviews with the winners.
World Architecture Festival takes place from 16-18 November at Arena Berlin. Take a look at the full programme and learn more at: www.worldarchitecturefestival.com.
