Competition: win a book detailing Copenhagen's architectural development
Dezeen has teamed up with Danish architecture firm COBE to give away three copies of a book that details Copenhagen's development from an industrial city to one of the world's most desired places to live.
Congratulations to the winners! Andrew Lewis from the UK, Jimi Estevez from Germany and Gustavo Vela Aguirre from Mexico.
Our Urban Living Room by COBE focuses on the architectural changes Copenhagen has experienced over the last 30 years. It explores how the city functions as a result of its buildings and infrastructure.
The book includes photographs and drawings of Copenhagen's architecture, both old and new, and information on how these buildings have impacted Denmark's capital.
"Our city is our home, and that quality is what underpins the success of Copenhagen today," said COBE. "The more we care for it as architects, but more importantly as Copenhageners ourselves, the better we will treat it."
Our Urban Living Room is also an exhibition at the Danish Architecture Centre, displaying examples of COBE's past projects, including photographs, models and drawings.
"Our urban culture is rapidly transforming from private to public, challenging our lifestyles by requiring us to negotiate much more frequently between interior and exterior environments."
Earlier this year, COBE unveiled its masterplan for Copenhagen's artificial island, Christiansholm, and completed a kindergarten made up of 11 house-shaped buildings.
Three readers will each win a copy of Our Urban Living Room, which is published by Arvinius + Orfeus.
This competition is now closed. Winners will be selected at random and notified by email, and their names will be published at the top of this page.
