Dezeen has been shortlisted in six categories at the Association of Online Publishers' annual awards, giving us more nominations than any other publishing company.
Two of the six nominations are for Dezeen Hot List – the first data-driven "power list" of global architecture and design.
Our agenda-setting annual survey – launched in September 2017 – is up for both Best Digital Publishing Launch and Best Research/Insight Project, which celebrates innovative and effective use of research.
The Association of Online Publishers (AOP) has also selected Dezeen for two of its Grand Prix Awards: Digital Publisher of the Year and Best Online Media Property – Business to Business.
The awards took into account activities over 2016, in which Dezeen not only turned 10 and launched a major redesign, but became the most popular architecture and design website in the world.
Dezeen's editorial team is in the running for the Digital Editorial Development Team of the Year – Business to Business award, while the video team has been nominated for Best Use of Video. Our in-house studio, which has increased video plays by an incredible 500 per cent this year, are up against media giants Vice, Time Inc, CBS and Conde Nast.
This would be the second AOP award the video team have won. In 2015, they took home the Commercial Partnership award for Dezeen and MINI Frontiers.
The news follows Dezeen's best-ever month, March 2017, in which we broke records across every metric. Last month, Dezeen managing editor Olivia Mull was also shortlisted for Best Digital Content Idea in the BSME Talent Awards for Dezeen Hot List.
The winners will be announced at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards Dinner on 28 June.
