Call for entries to the Archiboo Web Awards 2017
Dezeen promotion: networking platform Archiboo is seeking entries for its annual awards, which recognise innovative digital platforms specialising in architecture.
Dezeen is media partner for the second edition of the Archiboo Web Awards, launched to spotlight companies in the architecture field that are using the internet in a creative way.
Companies from a broad range of disciplines are encouraged to enter, including architects, developers, engineers and estate agents.
Entrants can choose from 10 categories, including Best Use of Technology, Best Use of Social Media and Best Visual Design. Four awards are new to 2017: Best Use of Video, Best Use of Digital Imagery, Best Offline Experience and Best Use of Innovation.
Those who enter two or more categories can also apply for the Best Overall Experience Award, which is sponsored by engineering firm Arup.
The winner will be named at an awards ceremony taking place during London Design Festival in September. Judges include Central Saint Martins head Jeremy Till, Royal Academy architecture head Kate Goodwin and Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs.
The awards attracted 300 entries in its first year, when The Modern House, Feilden Clegg Bradley, Conran & Partners and BDP were among the winners.
"Last year our finalists demonstrated just how much the internet is helping change the way we talk about architecture," said Archiboo founder Amanda Baillieu.
"Our four new awards reflect the new technologies architects and others have at their disposal. We very much look forward to seeing this year’s entries."
