Dezeen promotion: a mask for creating the perfect selfie pose, hand-blown glass vessels and a performance featuring a body covered in glitter are among the projects that will be exhibited during the Royal College of Art's 2017 graduate show.
Dezeen is media partner for Show RCA 2017, which opens on 24 June 2017 at the school's two London campuses, at Battersea and Kensington.
The exhibition will feature projects from 23 different programmes, including Design Products, Design Interactions, Global Innovation Design, Vehicle Design, Animation, Ceramics and Glass, and Visual Communication.
Over 700 art and design postgraduate students will present their work, and much of it will be available for sale or commission.
Students exhibiting include Anna Gray and Anna Chrysopoulo, who are both showcasing their experimental work with glass, Fritz Faust, who will present performance-based art, and Juliette Poggi, who is showing her sculptural project Selfie Cage.
Show RCA 2017 is open to the public from 24 June to 2 July 2017 (although closed on 30 June), from 12-8pm daily.
Architecture and Interior Design students will present their work separately this year. Their designs will be shown at The Workshop, an old fire station on Lambeth High Street, from 29 June to 2 July 2017 (again, closed on 30 June), from 12-8pm daily.
Fashion students have already shown their projects during a catwalk show earlier this month. Highlights included menswear influenced by the Manchester club scene, a "kinetic textile" and metallic tracksuits.
The exhibitions are all free to enter. For more information, visit the RCA website.
