Dezeen has teamed up with Dutch Design Week to present a late-night party with DJs and live performances in Eindhoven on Friday 27 October.
The event has been put together by musical collective Omnipresent World of Wizkids (OWOW), and features electronic music, light shows and performances put together especially for the evening.
It takes place at Effenaar, the legendary Eindhoven music venue refurbished by architecture firm MVRDV in 2005. Artists featured at the event include Bart van de Sande, Sofie Letitre, ZES and Polynation. Live visuals will be provided by Zalán Szakács.
The party is free to anyone with a ticket for Dutch Design Week. People without DDW passes can attend by paying €5 on the door.
OWOW is an electronic music collective based in Eindhoven. The event is part of the DDW Music festival taking place in Eindhoven during Dutch Design Week.
The party is part of a wider collaboration between Dezeen and Dutch Design Week. Dezeen founder Marcus Fairs has been appointed the event's international ambassador and will host a series of talks exploring how design can help tackle the problems facing the world.
Titled Good Design for a Bad World, the free talks take place at The People's Pavilion in Eindhoven on the weekend of 21-22 October.
OWOW + Special Guests Hosted by Dezeen is at Effenaar, Dommelstraat 2, Eindhoven on Friday 27 October. Doors open at 10pm, with performances continuing until 4am.
Dutch Design Week runs from 21-29 October. Tickets for Dutch Design Week, which include entry to the party, are on sale via the DDW website.
