Thomas Heatherwick and Ilse Crawford added to Dezeen Awards judging panel

Thomas Heatherwick, Ilse Crawford, Tatiana Bilbao and André Fu are among the leading industry figures we've added to the judging panel for the inaugural Dezeen Awards.

Architects Deborah Berke, Sam Jacob and Ministry of Design principal Colin Seah have also been added to the lineup of judges for the new awards programme, which will celebrate the world’s best architecture, interiors and design projects.

Other new additions to the judging panel include Nipa Doshi, co-founder of London studio Doshi Levien; and Carole Baijings, one half of Amsterdam duo Scholten & Baijings.

They will be joined by fellow designers Ross Lovegrove, Camille Walala, Philippe Malouin and Bec Brittain, as well as Beatrice Galilee, architecture and design curator for The Met in New York.

We have also added a series of interior design names to the list, including Soho House founder and CEO Nick Jones; The Modern House co-founder Matt Gibberd; Adam Brinkworth of design studio Brinkworth; Brittney Hart, head of interior design at WeWork; Roger Mann, co-founder of Casson Mann; and Simon Jordan, co-founder of Jump Studios.

Dezeen Awards will be the benchmark for international design excellence and the ultimate accolade for architects and designers everywhere.

We are already accepting submissions, and all entries received before 11 April will receive an early entry discount. The final deadline for entries is 30 June.

We have already announced 40 more international judges for the programme.

Ahead of the launch we revealed that David Adjaye, Patrizia Moroso, Rossana Hu and Benjamin Hubert would be on the panel. Shortly after, we added names including Amanda Levete, Sadie Morgan, John Pawson and Terence Conran.
