Ronan is one of the two founders of Paris-based design studio Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, which he runs in partnership with his younger brother.
The pair typically work together on projects. However Juillet offers a rare insight into Ronan's own design process, through a series of colourful abstract drawings.
Published by Swiss publisher Nieves, the 16-page volume presents the drawings in their simplest form, without captions.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec established their studio in 1999. Over the past two decades they have collaborated with some of the world's most prestigious design brands, including Prada, Kvadrat, Vitra and Samsung.
In June, they unveiled a minimalist outdoor installation, Ruisseau and Ring, in front of the VitraHaus in Weil am Rhein, Germany, featuring a marble water feature and circular steel bench.
Other recent launches from the Bouroullecs include the lost-cost Élémentaire chair for Hay, the colourful Alcova vases and objects for Wonderglass and the minimal Quindici chaise longue for Mattiazzi.
We have 25 copies of Juillet up for grabs. Alternatively, the book is available to buy from the Nieves website.
Competition closes 3 October 2018. 25 winners will be selected at random and notified by email, and his or her names will be published at the top of this page.
