In this book, design journalist Katie Treggiden explores the recent revival of this centuries-old craft by profiling over 20 contemporary weavers.
The book covers a wealth of ways in which professional designers, artisans, and artists have revitalised the craft today.
Among the weavers are Daniel Harris, who makes textiles for famous brands using 19th-century looms, and Argentinian Alexandra Kehayoglou, who weaves natural landscapes for designers such as Dries van Noten.
"The book includes beautiful images of their studios, work and inspiration and in-depth essays on the craft's relationship with themes such as emancipation, migration and technologies," says publisher Ludion.
We revealed six of the most innovative makers profiled in the book in a recent story.
There are five hardcover copies up for grabs, containing 224 pages. The book is also available to buy online.
