Échasse Vase by Menu
A droplet-shaped glass vessel rests on a delicate brushed brass stand to make up this minimal vase designed by Theresa Rand, which is available in three different sizes from Menu design shop.
Rand took cues from laboratory test tubes for the product, choosing smoked glass to offer a burned effect to the vase. She named it Échasse, which is the French for "stilts", after the delicate metallic support.
The Ruban by Hay
French designer Inga Sempé has collaborated with Danish brand Hay to create five rectangular mirrors framed with with brightly coloured ribbons.
Called the Ruban, and available from WallpaperStore, the series comprises four that are hung as vertical rectangles, while the fifth is a long rectangular design displayed horizontally. Designs can be arranged in groups to create a collage or placed singly.

The Flowerpot by Verner Panton for &tradition
Danish brand &tradition has reissued the Flowerpot light by the highly regarded Danish midcentury designer Verner Panton – making it an ideal gift for 1960s design fans.
A large semi-circular lampshade covers a smaller semi-circle that holds up the lightbulb to form the Flowerpot. This simple layout forms the basis for a series that includes a pendant and a table lamp, in bold colours.
VO3W 365 by Void
The Void timepiece comes with two leather straps and a custom tool for changing them over. The designs offers different looks: the solid black strap will gradually weather over time, while a dark brown intended to offer a more formal look.
Void has produced just 365 V03W's, so grab one quick.
Bananatex Rollpack by Qwstion
Swiss design brand Qwstion has created a backpack from fibres of banana plants. The material, named Bananatex, has "a smooth yet durable hand feel" and is biodegradable and waterproof.
The white bag has a rolltop to adjust to its contents and brown leather details, including a handle and zipper. The interior is lined with Merino felt and has enough room for a 15-inch MacBook.
Holocene no.4 by Wästberg
Architect John Pawson has created this oil-burning lantern for Swedish lighting company Wästberg in his famed pared-back style as a "crucible-like container for fire".
Holocene no. 4 has a stainless steel and aluminium drum, featuring a matte exterior and a polished interior to reflect light. Other details include a finger-shaped indent at the top of the metal handle that extends up from base of the light.
Vienna Throw by Hem
Graphic wool rugs by Vienna-born designer Arthur Arbesser evoke the works of the Wiener Werkstätte – a collective of artists and designers working in the city at the beginning of the 1900s – and Austrian architect Josef Hoffman.
Designed for furniture brand Hem, Arbesser's three-part series features blocky patterns that pair green and black, cream and black, and red and pastel-pink.
Sonos One speaker by Hay
Homeware brand Hay has reimagined the small Sonos One speaker in a range of colours for this limited-edition collection.
The minimal speaker is available in bold red, yellow, and green tones, and more muted hues of pink and white, to match a range of homes. Its design remains simple and sleek, including buttons flush to the top, and a white light that illuminates when it is powered up.
Recently Retired by Ace Hotel and Everybody World
Ace Hotel's old sheets and towels have been upcycled to form this collection the hotelier has created with LA-based apparel brand Everybody World.
The repurposed linens have been dyed red, yellow, and blue and quilted, and then turned into different items suited to nomadic lifestyles. These include a weekend duffle bag, slippers, sleep mask and zip pouches.
Coffee by Anya Smells
Give the gift of a coffee fix without the caffeine hit this Christmas with a scented candle by British designer Anya Hindmarch. Cardamom, vetiver, patchouli, cedar wood, tonka bean and frankincense notes are blended together to mimic the scent of freshly brewed java.
Held in a heavy black glass chair, the candle is adorned with expressive eye stickers, following in Hindmarch's typically playful style.
TL2 Digital Camera by Leica
Interior designers can capture photos and videos of finished projects or inspiration with the TL2 Digital Camera by Leica.
The camera features a HD touchscreen display to view and check shots immediately, with aspects that can be customised depending on preferences. Wi-Fi is integrated to share pictures to phones and laptops, or post to Instagram.
The Five Seasons Diffuser by Alessi
Perfumed scents are diffused from leaf-shaped cuts of mahogany rather than traditional reeds to make up the Five Seasons aroma diffusers, created by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for Italian brand Alessi.
Five different scented shapes are each set in a white porcelain base that spins to disperse the fragrance around a room.
Throw Pillow by Society 6
Curved black and white stripes, and bold pops of colour decorate this graphic throw pillow by artist collective Society6 to provide a contemporary accent to different spaces.
The Modern Scandinavian Multi Colour cushion is patterned on both sizes, cut and sewn by hand, and features a faux down pillow to make it comfortable for naps. It available in a four sizes to suited a bed, sofa, chair or the floor.
Brass Stationery Organiser by Monograph
Monograph has chosen a brassy finish for this stationery organiser to add warmth to the office space.
The set – which is available from Amara – comprises a rectangular base and two removable compartments to create sections that suit the size of different items like post-its, string and rubbers, as well as as pot for storing pens.
Le Duo Musées by Image Republic
Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim museum, IM Pei's Louvre Pyramid and the Tate Modern by Herzog & de Meuron are among the architectural works illustrated in this poster by Parisian design house Le Duo. Zaha Hadid's Riverside Museum and Renzo Piano's Pompidou Centre also feature.
Nine iconic designs have been flattened and simplified by the illustrators for the piece produced by Image Republic, and then set against a blue backdrop.
