One reader will win their choice of table courtesy of Society6 – an online platform that sells the original works of an international community of creatives.

Shoppers can choose work – from art prints to clothing to curtains – designed by "hundreds of thousands of artists around the globe", and purchase through the site.

"They create, we produce and fulfil, and every purchase pays an artist. Simple, but huge," says the retailer.

The Eyes round side table by Namaki is available in a variety of colours

The side table and coffee table are each available with a choice of artist-designed table tops. The Eyes side table by Namaki, which is available with either a round or square table top, is just one of many individually crafted side tables the winner will be able to choose from.

The table top designs fall into a variety of categories, including abstract, digital, pattern, painting, illustration, watercolour, modern, pop-art, art, geometric, vintage and more.

A coffee table is also up for grabs, including the mid-century modern Dear Summer coffee table by Kelly Knaga. All pieces are printed with a satan finish on birch wood, complete with black or gold steel legs.

Benches, bar stools, counter stools and credenzas that complement the tables are available to buy from the furniture range, but are not included in this competition. Society6 also sells a wide selection of wall art, bedding, rugs, throws, and more.

"We've been humbled by the opportunity to foster an international community of incredibly talented creatives. Whether you're an artist or not, we hope you'll rally around the same flag we do."

Competition closes 22 March 2019. One winner will be selected at random and notified by email, and his or her names will be published at the top of this page.
