With seven days to go until the Dezeen Awards early-entry discount ends, we've put together a day-by-day guide to help you meet the deadline.

Saturday

Take a look at all our categories. There are 12 each for architecture, interiors and design, including some new ones. Think about where you'd put the hand-made Dezeen Awards trophy if you win.

Sunday

Choose your best work completed during the qualifying period and decide which categories to enter. Imagine the envy of your competitors when they see you triumph.

Monday

If you haven't already, create a Dezeen Awards account. While you're at it, sign up to our newsletters. Think about what you might wear to the shortlist party.

Tuesday

Carefully read our how-to-enter page, FAQs and terms and conditions. If you get bored, practice your acceptance speech in your head (there won't be any acceptance speeches at our winners' party - but why not enjoy the fantasy?).

Wednesday

Start uploading your entry. Check there is space on your office wall for a Dezeen Awards winners certificate.

Thursday

Finish uploading your entry and get someone to check it's as brilliant as it can possibly be. Chat with your web developer to ensure your site can handle the traffic when Dezeen publishes your entry.

Friday

Final entry check. Press "submit" and pay for your entry. Pour yourself a glass of wine and dream of glory.
