In this talk held in Milan in 2018, trend forecaster Li Edelkoort predicts the ways in which technology will become further integrated in our lives and our homes in the next twenty years.
The talk, which also featured Google's head of hardware design Ivy Ross and trend forecaster Martin Raymond, was a collaboration with Google. It coincided with Softwear, the tech giant's first-ever exhibition of lifestyle products at Milan design week 2018.

"Women's contributions to the Bauhaus have never been recognised"
This talk, held at the Design Museum in London, on the influence of the Bauhaus on Danish design saw Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic clash with architectural historian Harriet Harriss over the role of women in the Bauhaus.
Harriss claims women's work at the Bauhaus was often appropriated without recognition by men at the school. The talk was a collaboration with Danish tap brand Vola.

"Display screens will soon be adapted into fashion design"
In this talk, held at papermaker GF Smith during London Design Festival 2018, Dezeen's editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs spoke to Richard Small and Matthew Laird from electronics brand Sony about the possibilities of flexible electronic paper.
The digital interface mimicking traditional paper could be adapted into fashion design, allowing wearers to customise their clothing at the touch of a button. The brand also showed of its Fes Watch U e-paper watch that uses the technology.

"Cities need democratic public spaces to thrive"
This discussion held during Stockholm Design Week 2019 explored the importance of urban furniture in creating democratic public spaces, with legendary landscape architect Thorbjörn Andersson stressing the importance of parks and public squares as necessary frameworks for attractive cities.
The talk was a collaboration with outdoor furniture brand Vestre and also featured Swedish designers Front.
