In our latest competition, we're offering readers the chance to win an overnight stay for two at W London hotel in Leicester Square.
This competition has now closed. Congratulations to the winner, who is Chris Ward from Cemaes Bay, UK.
Near the UK capital's Soho district, the recently renovated hotel is the first to fully integrate the DigiValet system in each room, designed to cater to visitors through adjustable lighting, sound systems and streaming services controlled from a tablet.
One winner and their guest will receive breakfast and a one-hour spa treatment session during their overnight stay, as well as a personalised Mega Bar experience which sees drinks served in their room.
They will also be provided with W London's insider tips on the city's best places to visit.
Guests at W London can be in control of their hotel experience right from checking in.
The DigiValet interface at W London can control in-room services by changing the television channels or temperature in the room, ordering room service from the hotel's Perception bar and even drawing the curtains.
Installed within each of the hotel rooms and suites, the tablet offers a calendar of events nearby, highlighting those that are newly opened, as well as offering local dining suggestions.
Guests can partake in cocktail masterclass videos on the hotel's streaming services to recreate their favourite drink, using the Mini Mega Bar for an equally enjoyable night in.
Included in the winner's package, the Mega Bar experience involves a personal mixologist and sound system, complete with disco ball, all to be enjoyed from the comfort of their own suite.
Each of the 192 rooms in the hotel were overhauled as part of W London's renovation, led by Amsterdam-based architects Concrete and local interior designer Krause Architects.
Remodelled for "fashion and function", the updated interiors feature avant-garde furniture, disco balls and daring feature walls, including mirror walls and irregular tiled black blocks.
At the centre of every room's "provocative look", a bold black, spiked pillow sits on the bed, designed by fashion designer Jack Irving.
The pillows initially appear dull and black, however when viewed through a camera lens Irving's design comes alive, showing off its hidden iridescent surface.
"The hotel's unmistakable bold identity is a perfect match for my avant-garde designs," said Irving, whose outlandish silhouettes have dressed celebrities including Lady Gaga.
"I took inspiration from Soho's creative energy and W London's irreverent attitude to create a unique statement piece that unites the hotel fabulous new room design and upgraded functionality," he continued.
The bespoke "techorative" pillows were commissioned and designed to complement the integrated use of technology throughout the hotel's suites and amenities.
The neon lights from inside the Perception bar invite guests to daily events, DJ gigs and entertainment that accompany the dining and cocktail menus.
Alternatively, the bar serves food all day long, including an afternoon tea menu as well bottomless rose wine at brunch.
One of 50 W Hotels around the world, W London Leicester Square features 192 guest rooms, including 28 guest suites, the 100-square-metre Away Spa and fitness facilities at the FIT gym found on the mezzanine level.
The winner and a guest will be offered a suite for one night, with breakfast, a spa treatment of up to one hour for one guest, a personal in-room Mega Bar experience and access to W Insider during their stay.
Competition closes 17 October 2019. One winner will be selected at random and notified by email, and his or her name will be published at the top of this page. Flights and travel are not included. Prize must be redeemed by 30 January 2020. Terms and conditions apply.
