In our latest competition, we've teamed up with Kip Hideaways to give readers the chance to win a two-night stay for four people at the Kingsbridge Hideaway in Devon, as well as a year's membership to Kip.
This competition has now closed.Â
Part of a former brewery, the Kingsbridge Hideaway sat unoccupied for a number of years before being renovated by London architect Misha Smith.
One reader and up to three guests will win a two-night stay at the house, which is just a ten minute drive away from Bantham, Mothecombe, and other idyllic south Devon beaches.
Outside the terraced stone cottage remains true to its past, whilst inside has been modernised with polished concrete floors, Farrow & Ball painted walls and a cantilevered staircase.
There are two kingsize bedrooms, making the house ideal for a pair of couples or a family. Children will also enjoy drawing on the blackboard wall in the kitchen.
During their stay the winner can choose to cook in the house or dine in one the area's many pubs and restaurants.
Ferry to neighbouring Salcombe for chips at the The Winking Prawn, and "don't miss excellent pastries at The Almond Thief in nearby Dartington," said Kip Hideaways.
The house is a short walk from the Kingsbridge estuary where the adventurous can explore by kayak or paddle-board – expect to see wild seals, a variety of birds and tiny seahorses.
Alternatively, walk the coastal path from East Portlemouth to Prawle Point and end the day with a drink at The Pig’s Nose pub.
As well as a two-night stay the the winner will be able to enjoy a year's membership to Kip Hideaways, a membership site founded by Liz Simpson and Sarah De-Vere-Drummond to offer a curated selection of "the very best small, beautiful and affordable rentals in the UK."
Other properties in the portfolio include treehouses, eco cabins, and luxury apartments grouped into six collections: Wildly Romantic, Fab with Friends, Bring The Kids, Digital Detox, Dog Friendly and With a Hot Tub.
Members benefit from access to exclusive offers, discounts on other brands, and a direct link to the home-owner's website, meaning no booking fees. They can also access secret members-only content such as travel tips and reviews.
Every time someone pays to be a member Kip plants a tree in a bid to offset carbon emissions.
