Ron Arad will present a digital version of an exhibition called DFWTM on 23 April. The exhibition was due to be held at OTI gallery in Los Angeles, but has been cancelled due to coronavirus.
Live music
Virtual Design Festival will also include musical performances, with Beatie Wolfe, who has been described as a "musical weirdo and visionary," conducting a live interview and performance on 24 April.
On 15 May, musician Rosey Chan (pictured) will conduct an interview and special performance, plus share some of her music-based collaborations with designers.
Film screenings
There will also be a number of film screenings throughout VDF, including an exclusive screening of a film by filmmaker Gary Hustwit on 1 May and a series of video interviews with fashion designer Iris van Herpen on 6 May and Archigram founders Peter Cook and Dennis Crompton on 11 May.
In addition to these events, we're aiming to include a VDF video message and a live interview each workday during the festival.
