Jung introduces augmented reality planning tool at VDF products fair

Building-technology supplier Jung is showcasing its augmented reality planning tool named AR-Studio alongside five of its latest collections at the VDF products fair.

AR-Studio is an app developed by the German company to allow its users to superimpose over 2,000 Jung switches, sockets and lights into an interior space in real time.

Available for both tablets and smartphones, it allows users to view fixtures with different material finishes and from different angles to help them select the right product for a space.

The brand is also showcasing its flexible Plug & Light fixture

AR-Studio is now viewable alongside the other Jung collections at the VDF products fair platform, which forms part of the Virtual Design Festival and offers brands an affordable way to showcase their products.

The five Jung product collections on show at the fair are the versatile Plug & Light and G + I ranges, and switch collections named LS 990 in Les Couleurs, LS 1912 and A FLOW and A 550.

The G + I is a power socket that is compatible with plug types from various geographies

Plug & Light is a flexible lighting fixture that can be mounted to walls or ceilings and relies on magnetic LEDs that can be rotated, removed or replaced, while G + I is a power socket compatible with plug types from various geographies.

G + I was developed by Jung for use in places like hotels and restaurants to help international travellers charge their devices without needing to use adapters.

Jung is also introducing its LS 990 switch collection in Le Corbusier's Les Couleurs colour palette

The LS 990 in Les Couleurs switches are the most colourful Jung products on show – available in all 63 shades of Les Couleurs colour palette developed by Le Corbusier.

LS 1912 is a toggle switch designed as a nod to the year the company was founded, during which it first introduced the switch model as an alternative to traditional rotary fixtures.

The final collection on show is the A switch range that introduces two new minimalist frame designs, both aimed at contemporary interiors.

The new A collection switch frames, named A 550 and A Flow, can be fitted with various sockets and inserts for Jung's smart-home solutions.
