Atelier Collections by Roberto Palomba for Ideal Standard
Dezeen Showroom: bathroom brand Ideal Standard has launched Atelier Collections, a range of minimalist sanitaryware developed by Italian designer Roberto Palomba.
Atelier Collections was designed by Palomba as a contemporary continuation of some of the brand's seminal product lines.
"The ranges draw inspiration from iconic Ideal Standard products of the past to create exciting new collections for the present," the manufacturer explained.
Central to the collection is the Conca range of washbasins, which has a deliberately pared-back aesthetic.
This is accentuated through a variety of bold finishes, ranging from sage green and nude pink to classic black or white.
According to Palomba, this broad colour palette pays homage to Ideal Standard's design heritage while also reflecting current trends.
"We maintain a very simple approach for our creations: quality paired with an intuitive design that also keeps an eye to the past while ensuring the levels of practicality, purity and elegance meet the needs of modern society," he explained.
Other ranges in the Atelier Collections include baths and toilets as well as brassware and bathroom furniture. These are available exclusively through independent retailers alongside the Conca sinks.
"Palomba, a master of international design, has created unique collections that include an exclusive range of ceramics, brassware and furniture," said Ideal Standard. "The bold designs work in harmony to allow complete customisation on every project."
