Dezeen Showroom: Marcel Wanders has created a collection of outdoor seating for Vondom that can move easily from garden to living room thanks to its use of cosy fabrics and sophisticated forms.
The Suave collection comprises a modular sofa, lounge chair and pouffes as well as a matching coffee table and a series of ornamental planters. All were designed to add an element of refinement to an outdoor space.
"[Suave's] colour palette offers a sophisticated warm feeling to create a glamourous atmosphere that invites people to relax and connect on the deepest levels," said Wanders.
The sofa can be tailored to any space with the help of its different, modular segments while the pouffe is also available in a range of sizes.
The Suave seating range is upholstered in a careful selection of soft and cosy fabrics that work both indoors and outdoors.
The matching pedestal planters have a sculptural quality, like plinths rendered in polyurethane. They are available in a variety of finishes and also come with a self-watering system.
"These pieces, just for themselves, are designed to create a beautiful environment that sets a very stylish mood. With the unique purpose of drawing people together, this collection allows people to celebrate life," Wanders said.
