Sling Lounge Chair by Industrial Facility for Takt among new products on Dezeen Showroom

This oak lounge chair that can be assembled using just four screws is among 14 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom this week.

Sling Lounge Chair by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin for Takt

Industrial Facility designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin have designed Sling Lounge Chair for Danish furniture company Takt.

The frame of the chair is made from FSC-certified solid oak available in a choice of either a natural or dusty green finish, while the reclined linen fabric seat is made from flax plant fibres.

Sling Lounge Chair was one of five chairs featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside products including hand-carved side tables sculpted from a single block of stone and porcelain tiles with a bactericidal finish.

Crop outdoor seating by Benjamin Hubert for Allermuir

Crop is a stackable outdoor seating collection created by industrial designer Benjamin Hubert of London design studio Layer for outdoor furniture company Allermuir.

The collection, which includes bar stools, lounge chairs and dining chairs, features robot-welded wire seats and backrests that are supported by a steel rod frame.

Otto chair by Alejandro Villarreal for Hayche

Otto is a light and stackable armchair designed by Alejandro Villarreal,  founder and creative director of furniture brand Hayche.

The seat and backrest of the chair are finished in either oak or walnut veneer, while the slender steel frame is powder-coated with low-VOC paint that comes in white or black.

Wired chair by Michael Young for La Manufacture

Wired is a bent steel chair created for French lifestyle brand La Manufacture, which British designer Michael Young has based on Harry Bertoia's midcentury wire seats.

The chair, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, is characterised by organically shaped patterns that resemble the veins of a leaf, with a central line in the spine of the chair that acts as the stem.

Smart Ocean chair by Niels Diffrient for Humanscale

Smart Ocean is an ergonomic office chair featuring a form-sensing mesh technology that adapts to each user, created by late American industrial designer Niels Diffrient for Humanscale.

Each Smart Ocean chair is made from close to one kilogram of recycled fishing nets that have been collected from the ocean and processed into pellets.

Möbius loveseat by Lauren Colquhoun for Bazaar

Möbius is a double-ended sofa informed by symbols of flow and eternity by interior designer Lauren Colquhoun for furniture and home accessories brand Bazaar.

The loveseat, which is handmade and can be upholstered in any fabric, offers space for two people to sit, joining them in "an eternal loop."

Bølling Tray Table by Hans Bølling for Brdr Krüger

Bølling Tray Table is a handcrafted wooden tray table originally created by Danish architect Hans Bølling in 1963, which design studio Brdr Krüger has updated with seven new colour pairings.

The tray table, which now comes in mossy dark green shades and warm hues of clay, features two reversible trays with a different colour on each side, so it can be flipped and swapped as desired.

Altar tables by EWE Studio

Altar is a range of side tables and coffee tables informed by pre-hispanic stone altars, created by Mexican design collective EWE Studio.

The tables are sculpted from a single block of stone of either marble or onyx. Since each table is hand-carved, the resulting form differs each time meaning the tables vary in size and quality.

Carpenter tile collection by Argenta Cerámica

Carpenter is a collection of porcelain stoneware tiles created by Spanish brand Argenta Cerámica, which come in five monochromatic hues including albar, taupe, pearl, grey and dark.

The tiles feature an antibacterial finish, which makes them suited for use in spaces that require good hygiene such as schools, clinics and hospitals.

Lintex Unit by Halleroed for Lintex

Stockholm studio Halleroed has designed a mobile room divider called Lintex Unit for office furniture manufacturer Lintex, which features retractable wheels that allow it to be easily moved.

Available in either a portrait or landscape format, the divider can be fitted with a magnetic glass to be used as a writing and display board or fitted with sound-absorbing fabrics to reduce ambient noise.

Agile workplace furniture collection by Actiu

Agile is a range of workplace furniture including mobile room dividers, screens, acoustic panels, tables and seating that sit on castors for easy movement, created by office furniture brand Actiu.

The collection features freestanding screens with integrated plug sockets intended for use as whiteboards or display screens for presentations, as well as space dividers. Also included in the Agile collection is a group of mobile grandstands that double as benches or shelving.

Fa Mini light by Goula/Figuera for Gofi

Fa Mini is a table lamp released by Spanish lighting brand Gofi, which was originally designed by design duo Goula/Figuera for an art exhibition in Barcelona.

The light, which can be used as a reading lamp, bedside lamp or ambient light, is composed of a spotlight affixed to a thin rod supported by a solid steel base.

Chata lamp by Gofi

Also designed by Goula/Figuera for Gofi is Chata, a dimmable lamp with a rhomboid shape that can be used as a bedside light or on a side table.

The light features a white linen lampshade with a base that comes in either a natural oak finish or Sierra Elvira marble. The lamp is designed to be used in narrow spaces such as bookshelves or bookcases thanks to its flat design.

Axor Edge faucets by Jean-Marie Massaud for Axor

Axor Edge is a collection of bathroom faucets by French designer Jean-Marie Massaud for German bathroom and kitchen manufacturer Axor.

The faucets, which are available in 15 finishes including matt black and chrome, are all cut, shaped and polished using a diamond-cutting technology.
