Dezeen Showroom: Marazzi has expanded its Grande Marble Look range of porcelain slab tiles, which the brand says delivers greater clarity and sustainability than actual marble.

Grande Marble Look tiles emulate the appearance of the original stone – including striking, uncommon variants complete with vein and shade variations – as well as Venetian terrazzo.

New additions to the colour range include the deep green Verde Aver and jet-black Sahara Noir with dark brown veining.

The large-format tiles come in sizes ranging from 120 by 120 centimetres to 160 by 320 centimetres and can be used to create a visually continuous effect.

"More stylish and eclectic than ever, Grande is the ideal ceramic material for free, adaptable, virtually infinite architectural design," said Marazzi.

Grande Marble Look tiles are skid-resistant, Declare certified and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
