This modular sofa system that adopts circular economic principles is among 14 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom this week.
Total modular sofas by Part & Whole
Canadian design studio Part & Whole has created Total, a modular sofa system that can be used to create various types of seating such as a standalone chair, straight-back sofas or larger corner sofas.
The seating range comprises upholstered modules – available in navy blue, dusky pink and dark or light grey – that are linked together with exposed slender steel structures. Every component of the sofa is removable, repairable and replaceable, which increases the product's lifespan.
Total was featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside products including home-office accessories that reduce neck, back and eye strain and porcelain tiles designed to mimic the appearance of wood floorboards.

La Lune Sous Le Chapeau by Man Ray for Warli
Italian brand Warli has updated the La Lune Sous Le Chapeau table lamp by American visual artist Man Ray, which now comes in an array of new colour finishes.
The lamp is composed of a folded sheet of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) lampshade lined with fabric mounted to a slim powder-coated steel base.

Bow tile collection by MUT Design for Harmony
Bow is a series of wall tiles informed by traditional clay tile roofs found in the Mediterranean, created by MUT Design with Spanish brand Harmony.
The tiles are characterised by a concave shape and are available in a range of finishes and colours including azure, white, teal, silver and maroon, as well as glossy and matt finishes.
Italian brand Marazzi presented five collections of tiles for floors and walls this week. One of which is Oltre, a porcelain tile designed to mimic the appearance of wood.
The tiles have an extra-matte finish and feature an interlocking pattern system that replicates the appearance of grain on timber floorboards. The tiles are also slip-resistant and have an antibacterial treatment.
Crogiolo Lume tiles by Marazzi
Crogiolo Lume is a range of handmade tiles informed by glazed majolica tiles.
The tiles, which are frostproof and resistant to abrasions, are available in an array of mottled colours such as green, blue, musk, greige, white and black.

Crogiolo Rice tiles by Marazzi
Also part of Marazzi's wider Crogiolo family of tiles is Crogiolo Rice, a series of modular tiles with a high-gloss finish and natural variation.
The collection comes in white and off-white and is also available with a choice of three blue nature motifs. Despite the irregular surface of the tiles, the edges are straight, which enables a tessellated instalment.

Grande Marble Look tiles by Marazzi
Grande Marble Look is a range of porcelain slab tiles designed to look like marble or Venetian terrazzo, which can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The collection, which now includes new shades such as deep green and jet black, features striking and irregular vein and shade variations and are skid-resistant.

Also suitable for indoor and outdoor use is Carácter, a discrete porcelain tile designed to resemble the appearance of stone floors and walls.
The Carácter tile collection is distinguished by an understated stone effect, which is created through a melange of grey and beige pebbles.

Sumi coat stands by Nichetto Studio for Schönbuch
Sumi is a family of modular coat stands with hooks designed by Nichetto Studio for the German brand Schönbuch.
The stands, which are designed to resemble tree branches, can be used freestanding or used as wall-mounted coat hooks in homes, waiting rooms, restaurants and hotels.
Italian furniture manufacturer De Padova designed Square XL, an oversized sofa characterised by strong geometric lines.
The sofa is composed of a steel and wood frame with steel or ash feet that come in a Canaletto walnut finish. The padded backrest and seats are upholstered in a removable textile cover available in velvet or leather.

Lolly desk light by Colebrook Bosson Saunders
Lolly is a lightweight and easily portable desk light that features integrated USB charging facilities, created by workplace furniture brand Colebrook Bosson Saunders.
The light features an adjustable head that can tilt below eye level in order to illuminate focus areas and reduce eye strain and glare. The light includes a four-stage dimmer, allowing users to adjust brightness according to personal preferences.
Lima Laptop Mount by Colebrook Bosson Saunders
Lima Laptop Mount is designed to raise laptops to eye level and is positioned at an angle that fosters good posture, as well as freeing up desk space.
The mount is slender and lightweight with curved edges and can support monitors up to 2.8 kilograms and screens up to 27 inches.
Ondo connectivity module by Colebrook Bosson Saunders
Ondo is a connectivity module designed to declutter cable connections between laptops and other technology on desks, including monitors, mice and keyboard connections.
The module, which is available in white, black or silver, comes with standard USB ports and USB-C ports for charging phones, tablets and other personal devices.
Ollin Laptop and Tablet Mount by Colebrook Bosson Saunders
Ollin Laptop and Tablet Mount also aims to enhance better posture by reducing neck and back strain and frees up desk space.
The mount, which also includes integrated cable management features, has a clamping mechanism that allows users to position laptops or tablets in either a portrait or landscape format.
