Dezeen Showroom: Slimfocus is a cylindrical fireplace designed by French manufacturer Focus that can be suspended from a ceiling or fixed to a floor or wall.
The Slimfocus wood-burning stove has a slender form designed to take up little space, allowing it to be placed in the centre of a room or against a wall.
"Its streamlined shape takes up little space, whether it is positioned centrally in a room, near a wall or in a corner," Focus explained.
"Its exceptionally fluid lines make it one of Focus's most stylistically revolutionary fireplaces."
The suspended fireplace is made to measure and suspended using either a fixed or pivoting fixture.
The wall-mountable version of the Slimfocus can be connected to a smoke flue on an outdoor wall and is fixed in place using wall plates.
Meanwhile, the freestanding model is fixed to the floor using a base plate and can also use gas as fuel.
All three versions are available in the same matt black finish.
