Dezeen Showroom: created by Italian designer Vico Magistretti for De Padova, the Raffles sofa offers a classic silhouette with hundreds of fabric colour options.

Designed by Magistretti in 1988, the Raffles sofa conjures the mood of classic English interiors with luxuriously deep seating.

Its design combines big, comfortable cushions with small, elegant details like carved wooden feet with swivel castors.

The cushions have a natural goose down filling and removable fabric covers, which are offered in a range of more than 100 contemporary colours.

The Raffles sofa comes as a two- or three-seater as well as with an accompanying armchair and pouf.

Raffles is made by Italian brand De Padova, which was founded in the 1950s by Fernando and Maddalena De Padova and is now owned by Boffi.
