Hessentia's collection of marble tables that feature bases modelled on sails is among 13 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom this week.
Spinnaker table collection by Luca Erba for Hessentia
Spinnaker is a series of tables created by designer Luca Erba for Italian brand Hessentia, which aims to bring together sculptural art and architecture in the form of vernacular furniture.
The tables are composed of marble tops in either a round or lozenge shape, supported by a sculptural marble and bronze base made of intersecting forms that resemble the sails of a ship.
Spinnaker was featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside products including a hand-stitched leather stool based on a horse-riding saddle and a collection of vibrant fabrics made from recycled ocean plastic.

Velar sofa by Andreas Engesvik for Fogia
Velar is a low-slung two-seater sofa created by Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik for Swedish furniture brand Fogia.
The sofa is designed to encompass its user and recreate the feeling of sitting up in bed through its upswept curved back and arm-free sides.

Ayno lighting collection by Stefan Diez for Midgard
Ayno is a family of lighting comprising floor lamps and table lamps created by German designer Stefan Diez for lighting brand Midgard.
The lights are distinguished by their exaggerated arched rods made from fibreglass, which can be adjusted into position via two rings and a textile-coated cable stretched between them.
Quest recycled fabric by Camira
British textile brand Camira teamed up with the Seaqual Initiative to create Quest, a lightly textured fabric made from recycled plastic waste recovered from the oceans.
The fabric, which is made with a two-tone hopsack weave, is crafted from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled polyester – equating to 23 plastic bottles per metre – and comes in 27 colour options.

Luce ceramic tiles by Guillermo Mariotto for Fiandre Architectural Surfaces
Luce is a collection of finishing tiles intended for use in commercial and residential settings as well as external facades, created by Guillermo Mariotto for Fiandre Architectural Surfaces.
The tiles, which are antibacterial, anti-odour and self-cleaning, are distinguished by the interplay of light and shadow created through a mesmerising chiaroscuro effect.
Pepe stool by Raffaella Mangiarotti for Opinion Ciatti
Pepe is a sculptural stool modelled on the aesthetics and ergonomics of a horse-riding saddle, created by Italian designer Raffaella Mangiarotti for Opinion Ciatti.
The stool is composed of a curved sled-base upholstered in hand-stitched leather. The backless seat is designed to promote good posture while strengthening the user's core muscles.
Sabi textile range by Louise Sigvardt for Kvadrat
Copenhagen-based designer Louise Sigvardt has created a woollen upholstery textile called Sabi for Danish brand Kvadrat, which comes in a rich palette of vivid colours typical of the 1970s and 1980s.
The textile, which is crafted with a traditional dobby weave, is made from a combination of virgin wool for the coloured threads and post-industrial recycled wool for the darker threads.
Tila is a chair that creates an interplay of light and shadow through its reflective chrome finish, created by Shepherd Studio.
The chair, which is informed by the traditional game of marbles, is composed of 210 hand-finished stainless steel spheres affixed to a tubular frame.
Kelly Hoppen light switch faceplates by Focus SB
Interior designer Kelly Hoppen designed a series of eponymous light switch faceplates for Focus SB, which is designed to offer an alternative to traditional plastic electrical accessories.
The faceplates, which Hoppen likens to "jewellery-like details", come in a wide range of finishes including designs with brushed and polished textures in metallic gold, black and silver.

Twist is a stackable stool with a PET felt seat intended for social spaces such as restaurants, bars and schools, created by Dutch design brand De Vorm.
The stool, which comes in three standard heights, is composed of a tubular steel frame, making it lightweight and therefore easy to move around.
Sticks lighting system by Arik Levy for Vibia
Sticks is a highly customisable linear lighting system created by Paris-based designer Arik Levy for lighting brand Vibia.
The lighting system comprises aluminium rods of three different lengths that can be connected and configured into various arrangements, in order to create unique light fixtures to suit any interior setting.

Bouclé textile collection by Dedar
Bouclé is a range of cosy, textural fabrics made from wool, alpaca, linen and cotton, created by Italian textile brand Dedar.
Amongst the collection is Nimbus, an ultra-soft and cloud-like wool bouclé; Karakorum, which is made from a blend of wool and viscose to enhance durability; and Lupo, a fire-resistant fabric with a soft and luxurious feel.

Calcaria porcelain tile collection by CristalCeramicas
Calcaria is a range of porcelain tiles intended for use as flooring, wall coverings and cladding, created by Spanish tile manufacturer CristalCeramicas.
The tiles, which are modelled on natural stone found in northern Europe, have a high technical performance and anti-slip rating, which makes them durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings.
