Dezeen Showroom: Italian tile brand Ceramiche Keope has presented a selection of tiles on Dezeen Showroom, including a tile with a "slate-effect" and another informed by art deco design.
Made from light-reflecting onyx, Ceramiche Keope's Onice tile comes in three colour options, each of which delicately blends light-coloured shades of marble together.
Pearl is a cool grey shade, Honey is a light-coloured warm tone "reminiscent of sunlight", and the Multicolour option is a blend of sea-like greens and yellows.
Onice is suitable to use on floors and walls and "gives depth to settings thanks to the games of light on reflective surfaces," according to Ceramiche Keope.
The brand's Ubik tile references the veiny surface of natural slate. The tile come in five neutral colours and is designed to suit interior spaces such as living rooms and bathrooms.
Ubik can also be used in outdoor areas exposed to harsh weather conditions, such as walkways, courtyards and rooftops.
Made from marble and porcelain stoneware, Ceramiche Keope's 9Cento collection takes cues from art deco design.
The tiles come in a range of different styles including Alba Oro, which is a gold tile flecked with caramel pigments and a coffee-brown tile with streaks of terracotta called Ombra Mocha.
The brand's Ikon tiles are informed by urban contexts and are designed to give the appearance of concrete.
The tiles can be used indoors and outdoors, and are available in a number of sizes, thicknesses and colours.
Designed for home and commercial settings, Ceramiche Keope's Omnia tile is intended to look like ancient stone.
The tiles can be used on walls and floors, and have a non-slip surface that can withstand high levels of foot traffic.
Ceramiche Keope is an Italian ceramic company founded in 1955 by Concorde Group. The brand produces porcelain stoneware floor and wall coverings for interior and exterior settings.
According to the Ceramiche Keope, natural stone remains a strong source of inspiration for their tile designs. More recently, other materials such as concrete, wood and marble have been used to inform new tile collections.
