Dezeen Showroom: designer Alexander Lervik has expanded his Arholma outdoor furniture collection for Skargaarden, adding additional pieces that aim to be both minimalistic and distinctive.

The Arholma collection of outdoor dining and lounge furniture now includes new chairs, tables, a sofa and sun lounger, all of which is characterised by angled slender metal frames.

Lervik first developed the design with a cafe chair, launched in 2021, for which he aimed to be as minimalistic as possible while creating something with a distinctive character.

"I found an identity in the form that I later infused throughout the whole collection so that it is clear that the pieces belong together," said Alexander Lervik.

The Arholma collection is made of galvanised powder-coated aluminium and durable outdoor fabrics. Skargaarden recommends it for both public settings and private terraces.

It positions Arholma as a sustainable choice that, owing to the durability of its materials and timelessness of its design, will last through the decades.
